example of a deposition (law) 10 points?

-

im doin this trial thingy in school for the WW2 unit. im pretending to be a witness and is suppose to write a deposition. i know that deposition is the out-of-court oral testimony of a witness that is reduced to writing for later use in court or for discovery purposes. can anyone give me a small example of a deposition

The opposing attorney asks questions like "Did you actually see him put the object in his pocket?" you say "Yes I watched him slip it in his right jacket pocket". Your attorney is there and can put objections on the record.

Questions about deposition summary?

-

Hi,

What do the numbers mean on a deposition summary? For example on this summary: http://www.deposum.legalwebsitebuilder.com/f/Deposition_Summary_Sample_No._1.pdf what does the numbers 3:18, 4:7 mean that are placed right next to a heading labeled as "name and profession?

I’m supposed to write one and it’s due tomorrow for my class, problem is my teacher never taught us how. She just gave us a piece of paper and said here you go… and my book only spends two paragraphs talking about it… deposition questions

Thanks!

Hi! The numbers represent Page:Line. So, the testimony that is written in the block is from page 3, line 18 to page 4, line 7. In a deposition transcript there are 25 lines per page. Does that make sense? If not, write me at lampowell1@gmail.com. My name is Lisa.

what is conserved during a chemical reaction?
energy, matter, both matter and energy, neither matter nor energy

which physical changes are endothermic?
melting and freezing, melting and evaporating, condensation and sublimation, condensation and deposition.

This is a better explanation than my last one. I just thought of a flow chart
.

melting and freezing, melting and evaporating, condensation and sublimation, condensation and deposition.
Deposition could be the frost that has deposited on my widow in this cold weather!
.
Which physical changes are endothermic?
.
Here is an easy way to know what is endothermic
Here is a flow chart of phases of matter
Solid → Liquid → Gas
.
You have to put heat into a solid to melt it → You have to put heat ento a liguid to boil it, so melting (Solid → Liquid) and boiling (Liquid → Gas) and evaporating (Liquid → Gas) are endothermic!!
.
Sublimation (Solid → Gas) is endothermic
.
A process that goes in the direction of the arrows is endothermic
Melting
Evaporating
Sublimation

I need to match the following words with the correct letter of the definition.
1. Condensation=
2. Sublimation=
3. Vaporization=
4. Deposition=
5. Solid=
6. Gas=
7. Freezing=
8. Liquid=
9. Melting=

a. The withdrawal of heat to change something from a liquid to a solid
b. The process whereby heat changes something from a solid to a liquid
c. The state in which a substance has no tendency to flow under moderate stress; resists forces (such as compression ) that tend to deform it; and retains a definite size and shape
d. In a process in which gas transforms into solid (also known as desublimation)
e. The state of matter distinguished from the solid and liquid states by: relatively low density and viscosity; relatively great expansion and contraction with changes in pressure and temperature; the ability to diffuse readily; and spontaneous tendency to become distributed uniformly throughout any container
f. A change directly from solid to the gaseous state without becoming liquid
g. The act of process of vaporizing, or the state of being converted into vapor; the artificial formation of vapor; specifically, the conversion of water into steam, as in a steam boiler
h. The act or process of reducing, by depression of temperature or increase of pressure, etc., to another and denser form, as gas to the condition of a liquid or steam to water
i. Fluid matter having no fixed shape but a fixed volume

Question about deposition from a neurosurgeon?

-

When a deposition is taken from a surgeon, what would need to be stated from the surgeon to be considered in favor of the plaintiff?

It would need to state the problem originated within the medulla oblongata and spread to the central cortex.
