Ison-Newsome as part of retailation against a parent who questioned the atmosphere of the school, prevented the parent’s child from graduating from the Dallas School District for five years. im doin this trial thingy in school for the WW2 unit. im pretending to be a witness and is suppose to write a deposition. i know that deposition is the out-of-court oral testimony of a witness that is reduced to writing for later use in court or for discovery purposes. can anyone give me a small example of a deposition

The opposing attorney asks questions like "Did you actually see him put the object in his pocket?" you say "Yes I watched him slip it in his right jacket pocket". Your attorney is there and can put objections on the record.

In this segment I explain and demonstrate a two camera shoot that is proper for a legal deposition. Some attorneys have asked about two camera shoots. They feel that it might be more engaging.

As I explain in this video, it is forbidden to alter or edit a legal deposition. You can show clips of a deposition but you cannot introduce bias into the video by cutting and editing two or more cameras. If more than one camera is used the video and audio feeds must be mixed live and displayed on the screen.

In this example both cameras are labeled and there is a time/date stamp clearly visible on screen. It would be permissible to have one camera zooming on documents or exhibits held by the deponent or have one camera fixed on the deposing attorney. In the latter case, employment of the second camera may be useful for training purposes.

What are some examples of deposition???

Volcanoes spew ash and rock fragments into the air, which get deposited on the ground after they fall.

Wind can carry sand and dust and other particles and deposit them elsewhere, wherever the wind blows.

Moving water such as river and streams move all sorts of particles such as sand and pebbles and rocks and deposit them downstream. Rivers that empty into the ocean can deposit sediments into the ocean.

In all bodies of water, such as lakes or oceans, all sorts of particles in the water, including organic material (such as skeletal fragments or pieces of shells of dead organisms), sink down and eventually become deposited at the bottom.
